Seminar Video Sample

Here is a video sample of the kinds of case specific strategic advice given to attendees at our seminars. In this case, the importance of using the legal tools to get all the information you need is emphasized. Asking for financial disclosure from the start of your case is vital. For example, if your ex-spouse lies or refuses financial disclosure you move to "strike his/her pleadings" which prevents your ex from even talking in court until he or she cooperates.

The benefits of attending our seminars and workshops

The nature of the Ontario family law courts and judicial system is that they are in need of innovation, confusing and extremely complex for the average self litigant to navigate. Increasingly people are forced into self representing very complicated family law cases on their own. Self litigants are often confused, chastised by a judge for not following procedure or for not having a lawyer, and they end up leaving court without any relief, frustrated, and wondering why they are even bothering. In fact, sometimes lawyers don't even know how to navigate the family courts if they don't do family law as a specialized area of their practice.

Unfortunately, for the average middle class Ontarian who is getting a divorce, access to legal aid is limited and the ability to retain and pay a family lawyer thousands of dollars is not an expense you can take on.

Fortunately, the Family Law Support Team is here to help you.

The truth is that as a self litigant you can forgo using a lawyer, get the result you want and not lose your life savings in the process. It just takes a bit of effort to gather the resources that we make available to you for much cheaper than hiring a lawyer.

Where can you get these Resources??

Every month the Family Law Support Team runs seminars and workshops to guide self litigants through their cases. We provide individual attention to your case so that you get your forms filled out properly, with the right arguments and language and you know what the next steps are going to be in your specific case.

Our Lead Lawyer has been practicing family law in Ontario for over 30 years and charges his high net worth individual clients thousands of dollars to retain his services. He is now giving something back to the community through our Free monthly seminars.

You may also book a private workshop with our lawyer and his legal team where we will prepare all of your forms needed for court and give you strategic legal guidance at $500/hour. This compares favourably to retaining a lawyer at 4-5K and then paying him an hourly rate.

As a client we offer a money back guarantee if you find no value in our services. We also allow you to ask as many questions as you like at our seminars or in follow up emails after the seminar is over so that you may keep in touch with us throughout your family law case to get the support you need.

Many people have asked me what is the average cost of hiring a lawyer – typically to retain a lawyer in a contested case – then you will pay between 5K to 15K, then thereafter you will pay a lawyer an hourly rate of 200-400/dollars an hour. You can easily spend between 25k to 50k from the beginning to the end of the process. Only the very rich or poor can get a fair shake in the courts without losing their like savings.

You need to get informed and inform yourself about the courts and the mess that is the Ontario family courts so you can begin to navigate your way through.

Here is a video clip of one of our lawyers explaining the concept of "Valuation Date", known in Ontario as the date on which separation occurs. It is important because it commences the time in which the law starts counting the 1 year of separation necessary to get divorced and it is the date at which assets and property values will likely be noted if and when assets are divided.

At the end of the day it is your life and we want to advise you in a direction that works with your needs, desired outcome and goals for your future.

I will personally get back to you in less than 24hours and answer any question you may have. To Purchase a seminar ticket by credit card you can use paypal by selecting the button below. The Family Law Support Team has a 100% money back policy for any customer who is not satisfied with the value in our seminars, workshops or services.

What to Expect at our Seminars

Our seminars last approximately 2 hours long. We use highly knowledgeable and experienced expert lawyers who ONLY practice in Ontario family law. Your lawyer will do an introduction to family law - the process, concerns and facts facing self litigants - and educate you on the right path for your specific issues.
Following this introduction he or she will go through sample forms and how to use them to your advantage, specific to your individual case. These forms are pre-filled out so you can witness exactly how to write and deliver them in the language that judges and the courts like.

Finally, the last hour of the seminar will be dedicated to personal attention on your specific divorce questions and needs. You will leave our seminar with knowing the next steps you need to take in your family law matter, the strategies available to you, the process to follow, sample forms and which forms you need to fill out and how. Most importantly, we will give you the confidence to jump start your self litigation process or re-charge your batteries if you are already engaged in self litigating.

You will get sample forms in a free guidebook package to take home with you and a copy of our video divorce kit worth $200. Our seminars are limited in seats available to 10 and the individual attention is worth thousands of dollars in legal advice for a fraction of the cost.

In this video our lawyer explains where to go to get advice if you are a self represented litigant in Ontario dealing with a family law or divorce case. Of course we highly recommend you attend one of our upcoming seminars which you can find our schedule on this page.

* In no way do our seminars or workshops constitute a lawyer-client relationship, we offer general legal advise to assist self litigants. If you think you need legal representation please consult a lawyer.
